Do you like to read rambles as much as I like to ramble????.....

Well I thought I might try to find some time to sit down and write some rambling, cos i do it so well! hehe not that I can remember what i was going to ramble on about all the times I thought i really wanted to get on here and ramble! lol

Dh went home on tuesday this week, and oh my it soooo already feels like its been weeks and not days! miss my baby soo much! his place is here with us and he reallly needs to work harder on getting his ass down here so i can annoy him more on a daily basis again! We NEARLY went back with him, cos we knew how much we would miss each other, but it really wasnt practical, sooooooooooo i refrained! im glad i did, but a part of me still wishes we had gone. especially when i keep hearing how much the boy is missing his daddy and wants to see him! only 24 days to go until we see him again! yay!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I hope that everyone who reads this has a great year and made a great start to it! We had a fantastic new years! perfect actually. hubby and the boy came to close friends of mine for a bbq and a few drinks! (and yup i was naughty and had QUITE a few drinks!!) Hubby hadnt met them before, well he had met my beastie but not her partner, but they got on famously and in no time it was like everyone was old friends. it was such a HOT day, even the evening didnt hit below 30 degrees until after midnite apparently! but sitting outside with nice food, nice company, relaxing with a few fantastic beverages cant be beat! loved it! or did i mention that! hehe Oh and had THEEEE yummiest mango and lime frozen cheesecake yum yum yum!! I also have a new fave drink of the moment browns 2007 Moscato (sp?), had a bottle at xmas and loved it, my bestie surprised me with another couple bottles on NYE , and lets just say the first bottle was polished off within 15 minutes! how shocking is that! but its divine! slides down so easy and tastes sooooooo noice! very much recommend it! or come over and ill open a bottle with you! have decided i need to stock up on it for when we get OUR HOUSE!! hehe

Do you have any new years resolutions?..... I dont really have any resolutions, but prefer to look at them as goals and aims to achieve for 2008! The FIRST and most IMPORTANT being, to have my family back togethor! AND be settled in our own house! Help the boys transition into school as enjoyable as I can make it! And a little one on a personal basics, to stop biting my nails AGAIN! its a shocking habit i have when im nervous, but have been working on it for a few weeks and so far have 5 fingernails on one hand and 2 on the other hand GROWING, can actually see WHITE and they are to the end of my finger tips! wooohoooo! so proud of myself already!

Other good news is: the count down is well and truly ON! - 17 days until settlement on our house, tis soooooooooo freaking exciting! I got sooooo many things for xmas for the house (will try to remember to take some pics tomorrow!) and that i have been buying lately, im sooooo excited! cant WAIT!!!!! bring it on! wooohoooooooooooooooooooo

While DH was down we had lots of family time togethor and did some fun things, went to port albert, also went for a day trip to sale to have a look at the shops and part and walk around the lake - just a nice relaxing day out togethor! Also went out to dinner to La Porchetta! I LOVE the la porchetta here in town, the restaurant is an old chapel, and just a really lovely building! We also went to the RSL for lunch, a trip out to my friends property for a day (which the boys LOVED the freedom of running about n running amuk on so much open space while we sat inside and gasbagged! hehe of course i did! im so good at it! ROFL) Went shopping a few times, but surprisingly even with the sales, none of us really saw anything much we wanted or must have bought! Oh yeah we ALSO went to see National Treasure - book of secrets! Which was pretty good, enjoyable enough movie, just kinda missing something in some spots! but definantly worth a watch!

We had a very enjoyable christmas! Wasnt too hot for a change, so that aspect was very welcomed! The boy of course was TOTALLY spoilt, both by santa, us, AND everyone else! think 90% of the presents under the tree were for him! hehe But he had an absolutely awesome day, so that is what counts most!! I couldnt even BEGIN to list what he got! im sure in the photos i have and will post over the next days and such, you will get an idea of alllll his new goodies! where we will fit them in the new house i have NOOOOO idea!
I must admit I also got spoilt, got new perfumes (Live by JLO and Pacific Paradise by Escada - my faves!!) got a set of the most AWESOME stamps, they are see d's ones and theres like 248 in the set, and they are allll just divine!!, a new watch, a pink faced one - very yum! got a NEW lens, a 60mm macro - which i totally love and have been playiing with heaps!!! also have another lens i got but is on back order, so should get that any day, got heaps and heaps of gooooodies for the house that im totally in love with!! and also a little project i had in my head for ages but couldnt get what i needed - however i was a very lucky chookie that had someone listen to my ideas and managed to track it down for me and all the bits n pieces, soooo cant wait to get stuck into it and share!! stay tuned! got a few other lil bits and pieces too that has left me a very happy lil chicky! ohhhh i love christmas! ohhhhh im spoilt! hehe Hope everyone else was spoilt too!

well ill leave it there, got some show n tell to edit and hope to be back later to post....
