Hospitals GRRRRRR

I had my first visit to the local hospital emergency dept for myself last night..... lucky arent i! What a fun experience that is! Ive been pretty sick for a few days, had the worst night of asthma I had ever had last week but suffered thru it, quite silly i know. It was getting a bit better but i went to the doctors anyway! but he was useless, just saw a local one as i couldnt get in to see my own GP, and the meds he prescribed just didnt work! well i actually had a bad effect to one, felt like i was on speed - head was racing, felt like i could feel the blood going a million miles an hour thru all the veins in my body! good trip that only cost me $40! (yeah right, nothing good about it! i dont know WHY people pay for such stupid experiences!) well that went on for a bit... But late yesterday evening I got heaps worse and felt like i could barely breath and was gagging and all, soooooo wasnt very nice! so went to the hospital... had to wait for the people in front of me to see the Triage nurse.... then it was my turn! well lets just say i mustve been worse that i even thought, the waiting room was full of people waiting to be seen, and i get taken straight in!! thankgod for that! I felt for the people in the waiting room, prob had been there for ages, and quite a few were still there waiting to be seen when we left 6 hours later! They had me on the mask 7 times with ventolin and atrovent, sent me for xrays, had to be jabbed a few times, (yooooouch!), eventually got sent home because i was feeling better, told to see how i go and then come back if i didnt get better! (i would have thought they were suppose to see how you go THERE! but the doctor kept going on n on that it was his time to go home, like i gave a shit about that!) .... what a bloody fun filled evening!! but alas, I actually SLEPT last night, for quite a few hours straight!! wooohoooo! still feeling tired today tho! :( I dont think ive slept more than a couple hours all up since last thursday night, which has taken its toll with so much to be done to organise the house and a zillion other things! Lets hope these meds they have sent me home with keep me doped up and make me all better!

and to top it off.... do you think dh has even bothered to call me! nice eh!
