My bags are packed.....

well almost....


im ready to go....


and im not leaving on a jet plane.....


i do know when I will see you again ....

and im not being swung around in the arms of Ben affleck.... what a damn shame!!





haha ok sad i know..... sooooo in the mood to watch that movie again now! and cant get the stupid song out of my stupid head! arghhhhhhhhhh


hopefully by the time i leave on thursday the song will be long gone!!





im mostly packed, just a few bits and pieces to do... gotta go do some last minute things tomorrow, deposit some checques in my bank account, post some things at the post office (wish me luck), go neswagents for some reading material for the trip, allll things that should only take a few minutes but of course when im in hurry the queues will be a mile and a half long and take forever to get thru!!





I received Skye's CJ for the lessons learned CJ swap off SM on friday. IT is absolutely stunning!!


her theme is 'lessons my mother taught me'... her entry, followed by sandyb's is breathtaking! pressure is on to equal the awesome standard... got my theme in my head... my mother taught me strength.... and thinking of using stitching and beading around the outside border... and need something interactive, so thinking a flap with hidden journalling.... trying to dig up a photo of me and my mum, but the only one i have or know of is me at about 18 sticking my rude finger up at her.... hehe sooooo not sure its terribly appropriate!lol might have to improvise in some way!! .... thinking cap will be on!! another request skye as made is to use a unique embellishment, oh boy did that rattle my brain, but then i got this idea back in my head of something ive been to do for a while so just prompted me to do it now instead of another day... i cut up an old cotton lace doily thing as i loved the little circles that made up the centre.... soooooooo would that be considered as a unique embellishment???????????? here's a looksie............
might maybe even add some beads to them to match the stitched n beaded border....

hoping to start to have a play with the entry tomorrow, then can just finish it off when i get back....

Oh and Sandyb has done the most AMAZING entry in my CJ, soooo cant wait to get to see it IRL!! Have a looksie HERE just scroll towards the bottom of the page!! isnt it jsut toooo awesome!!

ok im gunna stop dribbling rubbish now, will try to post tomorrow again, hopefully with a sneak peak show n tell... fingers crossed i get a chance to spend a lil time playing and get some of these ideas out onto paper before i go and lose them all!!
