The REAL countdown has begun!!

No im not counting down to christmas, nor to new years now, they're over n done, now the real count down is here...... ONLY 4 MORE SLEEEEPS WOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Still not sure exactly what we are getting up to but who bloody cares, beasties are going to be united in one place! As long as the essentials are involved, great company drinks munchies scrapping and shopping, oh and good viewing of sex in the city, what more could we want!! yeeeehaaaaaaaaaaa So SO so SO much more excited than a kid at christmas i reckon!!!!!

I soooooooooo need to get this house cleaned up though!! funniest thing is we went for a drive bbq n hike on friday, and stupid me RAN, yes what a freaking sight i tell you!!!!!!, up these stairs at the end of the hike, nearly killed me but i was so excited cos i made it without killing me! but am paying the price now, my calf muscles are sooooooooo sore and sensitive! haha that will teach me!!

How was your christmas? Mine was quite nice! unfortunately we didnt get to have it at home, had hoped with all hope that my family would cave and let us have our first christmas in our first house, but alas should have known better! but it was nice to have it at mum n dads and to be able to go and come home when we chose hehe! Chrissy morning santa had done his thing and the boy got absolutely spoilt rotten!!!! surprise surprise i know!! Then we opened our presents to each other. very spoilt!!! some gorgeous crystal wine glasses! buzz quiz tv. a pink purse the boy picked out ESPECIALLY for me!!! and included a handrawn picture of me and him cos he didnt have a photo to put in it! awwwwwwww and a new larger slow cooker. Then my bro called in and then his GF, for a cooked brekky. Then it was off to the rents house..... A quick stir of the pudding.... bet you cant guess what i wished for!!!!..... Then we did the pressies thing again hehe never enough pressies giving n receiving at xmas is there! I got very spoilt again, new stereo and speakers for my car, some yummy dies and embossing template... and and and and a BIG SHOT!!! hehe my parents finally got the scrapbooking thing RIGHT to a T! ;) Then a very yummy lunch of course, all the trimmings. And I got totalllllly tanked! ROFL i dont think ive drank so much ummmmm EVER! haha When we finally came home i wasnt feeling the best, surprise surprise! but then just as i was feeling like i was recoving, we somehow ended up with a full house of visitors again for a a few drinks... so silly me yep caved and had a few more! hehe if i was gunna drink i was gunna do a good job of it! So we stayed up drinking and playing buzz n talking til after 1-2. one of the nicest xmas nights ive had. was hilarious! The next day had to be up early to go post xmas shopping to get a couple more of my presents, welllll lets just say i wasnt hung over ----- i was stilllllllll reallllllly ummm HAPPY! haha So we went and got my new microwave, and went and spent a $50 voucher at spotlight i'd been given too, it was 20% off so decided to get more for my $$!

New years was nice-ish! Had a few people over, so had spent all day cooking, but everyone loved what i cooked so that is always nice. had quite a few drinks, but no where near as much as xmas day but still enough to be a little buzzed. It's funny cos i never drink so am making up for it! (And no doubt will again with the girls here this week! hehe) But then at about 9.30-10, hubby was no where to be seen, finally found him, asleep!!!!!! so i celebrated bringing in the new year with my friends without him! bit of a sore subject, he cant see how rude that was but ummm yeah i wont go there!lol Just one thing to say MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRRrrrrrr

Soooooooooooooo did i mention that theres only 4 more sleeps til one bloody awesome weekend!! hehe oh and a birthday to celebrate but shhhhhh dont tell her!!......

here's a few bits of show n tell, got a few pics from over xmas but havent had a chance to even look at them yet so will have to come back to it!!

Here's the kaiser bookshelf ive been working on.... tis a class im teaching over the course of the year.... tis looking awesome if i say so myself! If i could i wold get down on my knees and bow to kaiser, oh and tattered angels for glimmer mist, omg i am totalllllllllllllllllllly obsessed, 5 bottles later and now i want practically them ALLLLLLLLL!!!

A couple of the books started , ive actually started 6 of them, and will try to get a more current pic. but the books wont be completed til the end of each month when i can add photos and notes etc.... Each different month im trying to showcase as many different, new or revisited takes on as many techniques as i can.,..... stamping, inking, sanding, distressing, glimmer mist, scrunching, sewing, tearing, Dming, glitzing, masking, resistance, still trying to come up with a heap more..... any ideas hit me with them!

And a couple layouts ive done the past couple days.... totalllly loving this lo, not my usual colours but im in love!!!! ive got the journalling jotted down, but seen the handwriting master is paying a visit this week, im leaving it for her to write with her special magic touch! hehe

And another one with the photo i used in the chrissy cards this year, all chipboard has been given the glimmer mist special treatment!! hehe and got to play with my new BG papers i bought with my voucher at spotlight! Trying to use a few older things with every new thing i use lately thats not for the shop, so used some old chippy that ive had here for a while.

4 more sleeps.... did i say 4?????????? shite i better get cleaning!!!!! will take me that long! ;)
