back in action again .... for now...

Easters been and gone.... Hubby has yet again been for a few days and gone again.... again left behind a very disheartened family and a sick little boy who 'just wants his daddy'! sure is testing my strength and commitment! ... I know there are people much worse off and i try to focus on this as best i can but it doesnt take the pain away and it doesnt make things any easier trying to keep my little family togethor and a boy in line! nor a torrent of tears being shed all too often! never realised crying could be soooooo energy consuming!

anyway so after waaaay too much chocolate, fairy bread, monthly issues, many a tears and arguments cos the boy likes to scream and shout as his way of dealing with things already so he doesnt feel, or more to the point SHOW that he is hurting..... we made it thru the weekend and another goodbye..... to have the boy then get sick, so add to that 2 more sleepless nights and days..... and yayyyyyyyyyyy i think he is on the mend, fever down, no vomiting and a little more boisterous! but still a bit croaky and withdrawn! so boy has it been fun!

but alas YES today has been....... i think i fell in love with my postie man today.... he brought me sooooooooooo much love i could have almost ran away with him if he promised to bring me this even on a semi regular basis! lol

I was spoilt! lots of swap stuff, which bizarrely yes i get a MAJOR kick out of opening.... lots of yummy recipes coming this way lately and just as yummy n to die for LACE!! a girl cant have enough lace these days! but i got more surprises too.....

I got a GORGEOUS wishing well wish from MAZ! omg i got SPOILT!! and came at the perfect time, as some of it was totally spot on perfect for something i was working on... it literally almost fell out of the package right on to the spot on the page i was working on. I have never got into the wishing well thread on SM, but i think it could be addictive!! I was able to grant a wish and had sooooo much fun (will admit a bit daunting too! haha) putting it togethor. and now i know how exciting it is to receive something!! I got some gorgeous Q&co felt, some KI lace off cuts, some gorgeous velvet ribbon, some wide lace, some flowers and some gorgeous journal cards! im soooo addicted to journal cards, dont think ill ever have enough!! Thanks Maz!!!

I got another awesome parcel from Kylie (Yillup!) , with 2!! yes 2!! of the journals from spotlight I have been trying sooooooooooooooooo damn hard to track down! thank you soooooo much! can not wait to put them to the uses i have intended for them! its soooooo awesome to have such generous people willing to go out of their way to help others out! really gives you a good feeling there are people out there like it still!! Thanks Kylie!!

ANDDDDDDDDDD.................. last but DEFINANTLY not least..... a major surprise, boy was it an awesome one..... a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE thankyou to LISA, aka midnitescrapper! I have been thinking of this girl and her gorgeous family heaps lately after their big move and hoping everything is going ok and not getting on top of her...... and low and behold she puts in a gorgeous surprise in the post to me....... and as everyone who has seen it said, really sums up my philosophy! haha heres a pic of it!:

How freaking cool is it! now I can have my cuppa every morning and be assured scrapping is the way to go NOT housework!! Again thanks soooo much Lisa, it realllllly made the day shine in its dreariness! and i do hope you and the girls and hubby are all surviving in the new house and town! missing hearing from you!

The front cover! - I was actually really liking it, then stuck toooo much on so now not too keen on it but dont wanna start over again, so it will do! mod podged sparkled it so its pretty glittery!

The Front and back cover! - kept the back pretty plain, but it got doused in mod podge sparkle too so its not plain plain but u cant tell in the pic lol

Inside cover/intro page..... introducing my theme on the left, and the right is still blank, still not sure if or what im going to add to it......... :S

My double page entry in my CJ....... (featuring some of the gorgeous flowers and the journal card Maz sent my way!! how welllll do they suit it!)

Heres my double entry, with my sign in index card pulled out..... instead of doing a sign in page like usual, i decided to put an indext card in a pocket between pages for everyone to fill in as a sign in card with a photo and to journal on and decorate as they wish.

This is the index sign in card of mine, front side with my pic and details....

And this is the back of my index sign in card.... used a quote on a sticker i loved and found appropriate... and gunna handwrite a little bit of journalling next to it
